    I am passionate in supporting and educating clients in healing trauma and addiction and a warm, inclusive environment that is trauma-informed, and culturally competent. I am a LGBTQIA2+ Rainbow Advocate and Educator and provide the highest quality of care and best care practices for individuals and their partners. I specialize in attachment issues, childhood and adulthood complex trauma, post-traumatic stress disorder, affairs and infidelity, love addiction, sexual intimacy, compulsive sexual behavior/sex addiction, codependency, relationship issues, partner betrayal trauma, couple betrayal recovery, ethical consensual non-monogamy, polyamory, identity development, personality disorders, gender identity issues, gender presentation, sexual orientation, coming out and transitioning, racial trauma and multicultural issues.

Emelina Bellé is passionate about providing individuals and couples psychotherapy evidenced-based treatment planning and techniques to address client’s concerns. Her approach is providing a compassionate, inclusive and nonjudgmental safe space in establishing insight, growth and transformation for meaningful and satisfying relationships across intersections of diversity. She is dedicated to supporting individuals and couples with increasing emotional and sexual intimacy, effective communication, maternal mental health, affair and infidelity recovery, managing conflict, and complex trauma towards establishing mental health and well-being.

    Emelina (she/her) is bicultural and bilingual in Spanish and acknowledges diversity, equity and inclusivity, sexual orientation, gender identity, the LGBTQIA2+ community, and the various intersections of identity. She conducts research studies on Modern Love Stories, An Inquiry of Interracial Couple Romantic Relationships to address attachment theory and ways of connection amongst interethnic, interracial, and intercultural couples for the exploration of attachment theory, love theories, emotional and sexual intimacy, and meaning-making of diverse American couples.

    Emelina is an AAMFT Clinical Fellow American Association of Marriage & Family Therapy, a Doctor of Psychology Marriage & Family Therapy PsyD Candidate and Sex Therapist. She holds advanced clinical training and certifications, including Comprehensive Sexology Program, Gottman Method Couples Therapy Advanced Level 3, Certified Clinical Trauma Professional Level 2 (CCTP-II), EMDR Eye Movement Desensitization & Reprocessing (EMDRIA), Neuroscience, Trauma Stress Studies Program. Additionally, she is a Certified Sex Therapist Candidate (CST), Certified Sex Addiction Therapist Candidate (CSAT), Certified Couples Betrayal Recovery Therapist Candidate, Certified Trauma Partner Therapist Candidate (CTPP), and Rainbow Advocate Clinical Specialist (RACS) Candidate from the International Institute Trauma and Addiction Professionals (IITAP). Emelina holds a Marriage & Family Therapy M.A. Master’s Degree from the California School of Professional Psychology (CSPP) Alliant International University COAMFTE Commission on Accreditation of Marriage & Family Education.
